Our Story - Beauty is Our Passion

Making a difficult decision to leave the environmental consulting field as an Environmental/Chemical Engineer in 1995 to follow my love of beauty and  passion to open my own hair removal office and spa, I have found my career change to be tremendously rewarding, and my background as a former Project Manager a proven asset as a woman in small business. For the past two decades, I have been privileged to help enrich hundreds of clients' lives by removing unwanted facial and body hair, and to offer skin care treatments to help my clients look and feel their best. I have made countless life-long friends, and can truly say I love what I do and know how blessed I am every single day.

 It's truly incredible to reflect upon the evolution of Lynne's which originally launched in 1998 as a single-room, electrolysis business known as "Lynne J. Reilly, Registered Electrologist", and has continuously blossomed throughout the decades into a beautifully decorated, boutique-style space offering hair removal treatments, spa services, skin care treatments, and medical aesthetic treatments. Our journey kicked off in 2004, when it became obvious that to be current, laser hair removal would need to be offered in addition to our electrolysis treatments to provide a more effective, medical-grade option to permanently reduce unwanted facial and body hair for our clients. Shortly after this time, we chose to to add skin care to our menu to provide our clients other ways to look and feel good about themselves.

In 2014, a very exciting addition happened when my daughter Dayna began to show her love of beauty and joined our team as a Laser Hair Removal Technician and Licensed Aesthetician. After graduating with a BS degree as a Registered Nurse, she pursued her passion for advanced aesthetics where she worked at The Finery in Boston as an Aesthetic Nurse. Dayna rejoined our team in 2019, and has since then continued to build her own medical aesthetics following at Lynne's providing injectables, photo rejuvenation, radio frequency skin tightening, sclerotherapy, and Vitamin shots. She has also contributed to Lynne's earning the title of a "Black Diamond" HydraFacial Provider (an honor given to the TOP HydraFacial providers in the world) four years in a row, and continues to help our clients look their best by enhancing their skin care regiment with more advanced, medical-grade options. Dayna recently added a new license to her collection as a Certified Laser Electrologist, so that she could achieve a better understanding of causes of unwanted hair and perfect her skills and knowledge in permanent hair removal.

The last and most recent part of our business  journey happened in August 2021 when an amazing opportunity fell into our laps and allowed us to design and create the Lynne's we dreamed about for years and years. We are so very proud of and grateful for our new office at 598 County Street, and are truly thankful each day for our loyal clients and amazing team of friends and workers who made our dream come true.
